KENTARO!!
Kentaro!! danse depuis l’âge de14 ans, en ayant étudié principalement la danse à l’école de la rue.
Il a crée le Lockin’ On dance Team, dissous après quatre ans d’activité, puis se lance ensuite comme danseur solo sous le nom de Kentaro!!.
Profondément sous l’influence de la danse contemporaine, il a commencé aussi à s’exprimer dans des performances.
Son style, acquis dans l’improvisation, cherche à introduire les techniques et l’esprit du Hip Hop dans la danse contemporaine.
“My style is very different from the others. I didn’t think I’d fully expressed myself. I’m very happy to be recognized in the contemporary dance arena, having started out in Hip Hop; this achievement has made many persons’ wishes come true. I myself am based in Hip Hop, and I’d like to see people in contemporary dance do Hip Hop and, through cross fertilization, really enliven the dance scene. Taking this as my start, I hope to devote myself to bring even better dance experiences to audiences. I’d also like to thank, above all, my family, friends, and team” — KENTARO!!”
